White marks on skin with no pain are called vitiligo. Vitiligo has
non-contagious nature but people take it as contagious disease that is often
due to misconception or wrong perception. It’s necessary that we learn about
vitiligo so that we can clear our misconception. Discussion is vital because it
makes us familiar about different things. People usually hate patchy faced
people because they do not look beautiful or people may think that they are
suffering through catchable disease.
When we notice vitligo patients, we rarely know the reason because most of us are not doctors and many people are unfamiliar from word vitilig. Not having knowledge about disease causes misbehavior with such patients. I am showing you a picture of vitiligo child who has white spots on his face and other parts of body.
You can guess the
age of this child through this picture. Yes he is 7 years old but he does not
want to go to school and he is known as Jacky. He avoids play places in view of
the fact of vitiligo. His parents want that he joins school but he always say
that children make fun of him and he cannot tolerate that misbehave. At play
places, Mostly parents stop their children to play with him due to his spots.
He is no more childish because he takes his life is aimless. When i wanted his picture, he refused by saying '' I don't deserve that someone takes a picture of me because i am not that important and i am not beautiful and people will make fun of my picture’’. Then i told him that you are different from others that's why i am taking picture of you.
Vitiligo can attack anyone then why people cannot understand the feelings of such patients. They are suffering bad consequences and if we cannot ease their pain, we should also not demotivate them. Jacky is not willing to go to school, his life will influenced and can creating many troubles for him. Treatment of vitiligo can give relief but many patients leave this disease due to loss of aspiration. Treatment can change their life.
